For him the  best features are its size, big and comfortable to hold the large fonts the large keypad  the  easy navigation.

According to Bridget, the phones best features are the dial tone when you open it, the yes no buttons, the 24 hour operator and the 20 pre-written text messages.

The worst feature is the volume control, which is a bit hard to use.

Now, the Jitterbug cell phone was designed as a senior cell phone, but its a great phone for anyone who does not want or need cameras, mp3 players or radios.

The Jitterbug Phone Has No Contracts

The Jitterbug Phone Has No Contracts

Some say, the Jitterbug Phone is a bit expensive. Like all things, it pays to look at “the numbers” a little closer.

Some phone plans may appear to be cheaper, but are they free of contracts? Lets say you get a phone, with another company, thats $10 down and then has a 24 month contract at $10 a month. That phone is going to cost $250. This means you are contracted to pay the service provider the $250, whether you use the phone, or not. Once you are signed up for 24 months, what happens if you don’t like the phone or the service?  Your stuck with a company you may not like.  You would have to pay a substantial cancellation fee, to break the contract.

With the Jitterbug Phone you can try it out for 30 days and if its not what you expected or wanted you can return the phone in like new condition and you get your money back.

You only pay for the phone plan you select. A $14.99  a month gives you 50 minute call time, and any that is unused will rollover to the next month. You can also buy add on minutes that will last for 1 year from the date of purchase.

If for some reason you want to cancel the service there is no cancellation fee.

You can pick any plan you like for each month, and there are no long distance or roaming charges for the US & Canada.

You are also buying the great Jitterbug features, that you like. A simple, easy to use no fuss phone. You just pick it up,flip it open and dial the number.

There is a button you press to turn the speaker on, simple navigation and if you want to txt they have made it super simple.  So it would be hard to buy a similar no contract phone for $147. Many no contract phones start at $200.

So the Jitterbug phone may seem be little more expensive upfront, but it looks like a wise investment over time.
