Jitterbug Phone Review

Oh, praises to the person who invented the jitterbug phone! There isn’t any other cell phone on the market today that I would even consider buying! Cell phones have always been a mystery to me and far too confusing. This cell phone was definitely created for people like me who are technologically impaired. It’s simplicity in design and use goes way over the top and they have plans for as low as $14.99 a month. Just perfect for those of us on a budget! I sure don’t need the fancy “extras” that other cell phones have, so the jitterbug cell phone does what I simply want it to do.

It’s as simple as calling from your own home. The price is very reasonable at around $150.00, and I personally prefer the $14.99 a month fee for 50 minutes. It keeps me on track to maintain a budget. Another added feature of this phone is that there is no long term contracts with some huge fee to cancel as there is on other cell phones. This cell phone is a great safety feature to carry in your car. Although this cell phone is geared for senior citizens, I can’t see why it isn’t a good idea for a teen as well. I have been thinking of purchasing one for one of my grandchildren, too. An operator is always available to help you with your calls, although I find this is not necessary.

Verizon has come out with such a marvelous product at such a reasonable price that I recommend this cell phone to anyone that is as confused as I am about the normally hard to understand cell phones. The large buttons are easy on the eyes and fingers. What other cell phone could offer what we really need in a cell phone? All I need is to be able to call for help if needed or tell someone where I am at the moment, and this is what this cell phone offers plus easy, convenient features at a low cost. What more could I possibly want? I don’t need a toy or computer, just a phone that does it’s original intent.Jitterbug Special Offer. Get a FREE car charger with purchase.

I want this phone also. I am 47 and not at all technologically challenged, but I want a phone that is comfortable and just a phone! No one seems to make those anymore lol! This also has text message capabilities if you want it. I really cannot wait until the contract on my Sprint phone cycles through so I can get this one!

i have NEVER have understood why the jitterbug has only been marketed to “seniors”…indicating one has to be feeble, unable to hear, and barely know how to use a home phone..i agree w/ melanie..what about kids..because of the “targeted market” can you imagine a teen being willing to use this phone?..heck no..what about those of us that are quite techno savvy but kind of hate talking on the phone anyway..if you have a camera that is so small it fits on your key chain, what’s the point? and the last thing i need is another place to keep a list!..i’m not “old enough” to qualify but the moment i saw this a few years back..NO CONTRACT..no email..no poor quality music…AND PROBABLY HARD TO LOOSE since it doesn’t look like a remote control:)…i really want to try it..worst situation, you paid for another “disposable phone” but not locked into a contract where the REAL $ goes anyway..i think there is a much larger audience jitterbug is missing, maybe not before but now that people are sick of the “big name” companies who change and charge more every month w/little more service besides the things they already do on their nt.books any way…i guess teens will always be seduced by the portability of being on facebook…
if i try this for the next month i can put my “other account” on a temporary hold, try out this option and see if it is actually user friendly and has good connectivity…hum?

you are exactly right when you say it’s not just for seniors. what happened was they targeted seniors so they would understand that it was the only phone on the market that was designed to be a simple to use phone and they would have no difficulties using it. seniors were who they had in mind when this phone was designed so they wanted to explain that to them. they figured the rest of “us” would be able to figure out the simplicity of the phone and get it on our own. that’s actually what has happened. the age group actually starts now at about the early 30’s because they like the retro look and simplicity of the phone and the age range goes up to 100. service is nationwide, louder volume that can be adjusted, larger numbers, no long distance charges, no roaming fees, great flexibility with monthly plans so you’re not paying for what you don’t use. i’m getting one as well and i’m in my 40’s. it’s a phone designed to last for many years. if you need more info or how to get one let me know. as they say….”you’ll be glad you did”

Is it true that there are no additional charges beyond the monthly service charge?

Why would yo spend $150 dollars on such a low end phone , should be free with the service or darn near free !
